Awareness:

To inform and educate people about cancer and to influence their attitude and life style so as to protect themselves from cancer.

In this endeavor we intend to reach to 1,50,00 population with 12 awareness sessions in the urban; 8 in the rural and 4 in the tribal areas through professional talks; street plays; video presentation and simple readable leaflets/posters.

Screening & Detection Camps:

Screening means checking your body for cancer before you have symptoms. Getting screening tests regularly may find breast, cervical, and colorectal (colon) cancers early, when treatment is likely to work best. Lung cancer screening is recommended for some people who are at high risk.

We will be working to screen 20,000 people after the awareness has been created.

Cancer Treatment Support:

Our organization would like to allocate some funds to financially support as per the need of under privileged patients who require treatment (medication; travel; accommodation etc.) and have limited resources. Besides our available resources we will help them to identify philanthropists or organizations who are willing to help.

Cancer Survivor Rehabilitation:

Rehabilitation is concerned with the education and training of individuals to be able to carry out activities of daily living by themselves; and at times to support the education of a child or spouse in skill development to enhance opportunities to be financially independent after surviving cancer.

Advocacy:

Advocacy is an activity by an individual or group that aims to influence decisions. We plan to partner with peoples associations in the areas of our work and orient the members on issues relating to cancer for them to carry forward the awareness and advocacy on no tobacco and say no to alcohol.
