Cancer poses a significant global threat, and India is not exempt from its impact.

 

Shreya Cancer Foundation (SCF) is a voluntary, non-profit, public charitable registered TRUST extending medical relief and welfare support to poor and needy in the areas of cancer awareness, prevention, early detection and treatment of Cancer since the year 2014. SCF is registered with Ministry of Corporate affairs, Government of India, for undertaking Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) activities vide registration number CSR00017027. It is also registered under section 80G of Indian Income Tax Act, 1961 enabling donors to claim deduction of the voluntary contributions to SCF.

Our organization, SCF is the only charitable foundation in and around Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh actively trying to create tangible solutions to the problems & pains that the people are facing due to Cancer.

Why Shreya Cancer Foundation ?

Indian Government – is committed to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals. Goal 3 (Good Health and Well Being) highlights the need to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages & Target 3.4 within that Goal includes reducing by 1/3rd premature mortality from non-communicable diseases, Cancer, chronic respiratory disease and diabetes. Under the present circumstances, attaining this goal could be a challenge.

This is where organizations such as Shreya Cancer Foundation (SCF) play an important role. Through their interventions, they not only support in reducing the cancer burden of people, and also contribute towards the Sustainable Development Goals towards health and wellbeing.

AP Government – Andhra Pradesh has adopted all 17 SD Goals, as all of them are relevant to the development agenda of the state. Actions on some targets are designed to be taken at the national or international level, and do not call for any action at the sub-national level. 691 indicators have been identified to monitor the progress towards achieving the targets.

Our Policy Statement

Shreya Cancer Foundation will involve in Awareness, Prevention, Control and Management. Medical facilities to be made accessible and affordable to the population through collaboration with various stakeholders.

And help empower the survivors to integrate into the social, economic and environmental system to establish a robust platform for effective control of the disease.
